2008 Spring

Well with Spring came time to shed the winter salt and get out to the meets!   Missisauga Meet pics, Neetronics dyno day, Crashed a legacy meet!

Snapped a few pictures  when Patriki, Mulletproof and Bonkers came over for a wash.

Probably one of my favorite pictures i took in 08 wasn't even of my car!  Those that know him will have fond memories of this N/A beauty!  more on the demise later…

Rollin to the Meet in Mississauga!

Chris C’s bugey below.  We had some eats and got to hang with a few of the Legacy guys that popped out.

Typical late night hanging out and talking cars!  Most of the crew that night.  That's me in the back row!

Alex! got in touch with his feminine side!

We got a bit stir crazy so Mullet got me trying to do rolling shots… wow this stuff is hard to get right!

DYNO DAY!

Neetronics and the TSC brass hosted a dyno day in May 08.  I was ready to hit the wheels and lay down some #’s.  Honestly tho.. didnt give a flying $$)#@#@#.  Car was running great and It put a smile on my face every minute!

James the TSC prez was out in his freshly painted whip.

The day was a great success parking lot was full

and the people were getting restless! Terry doing … not sure what!

A few of the rides that showed up!

Tim’s Wide body custom everything!

A pile of red cars! heh i wasn't part of the club so i felt left out!

Rally car showed up. I must have missed it on the dyno.. cant recall.

At last the organizer!  Gadget Guy!

There were oodles of prices handed out with the raffle!  James and Killian  doing the draw!

My car was looking great! :) Work CRKAI’s grill was all done and lip painted!… what was i thinking with those mudflaps.. Oh yeah the community i live in was still under construction mud and dust everywhere makes it hard to keep things clean.

At this point i got a bit nervous! First time on a dyno and i have heard the horror stories of cars going BOOM!  Gladly she survived and made one hell of a racket!  Likely one of the loudest cars on the rollers that day!

18g, 740DW injectors, Perrin FMIC, Cobb CAI, Perrin catless up and downpipe with Greddy Evo2 axle back and resonator, Accessport Protune by Mike @ innovative tuning.

Yeah i know you all want to see the pretty graph!  AFR’s got a bit out of range in a few spots. But a nice power band.  There is a whole lot of space under that curve!

Crashed a legacy meet!

Randomly dropped in on a Legacy meet!  These guys / gals are weird! underground parking meets are creepy!

New and old Leg’s

Ghost? or Wendy getting in the way?

Wendy and her legacy before she swapped it in for a prez N/A.  A little over dressed for a underground parking meet!

2008 Recap part 1

Going to recap while I get my rear end moving on project “Aurora”

08 was a blast! Continued customizing and driving! Big project was a custom front grill setup similar to the grill craft stuff! And paint and fit a Greddy front lip. Wanted to protect the FMIC and DIY projects are my OCD meds! Sourced some mesh from www.customgrills.com and got to work.

Grills installed and bumper on the car. SS hardware to securely hold the grill material in front of the FMIC core to avoid any rubbing.

Grills finished lip on and Plate installed

Finished product with Greddy lip and plate installed with custom SS hardware.  Looking mean and clean!

It was 2 days worth of work in total.  I would do it again in a heartbeat as the results are very clean.

On the next car ill be painting the Perrin FMIC Core black to help it hide!

P.S. One of my shots of Polaren’s bugeye.  Something about the tanks in the background that set it off..  Car is long since sold..

Lets not talk about those wild lights he DIY painted! eek.  Glad they came off and were sold days later!  he had a ricer moment!
